I just started watching true blood, and I don't really understand why everyone is so crazy about Eric. Ya, he's hot, but I find Bill much more likable. And I think he's better with Sookie too.

@ronnieca21 agreed, alex skarsgard is one of the hottest man on earth but as far as the characters go I find Bill much more likable and better with Sookie. It's too bad we seem to be the minority.

@trixiedoor Well, I've already stated who I think is "better for her" so I won't reiterate my previous statement and you don't have to make an opinion on it anyway. Regardless of how thinly disguised a prop she is, I still think the plot is great, the characters complex and the stories interesting. Whether or not you agree is irrelevant because I watch the show for me, not you. I like the show, you don't anymore. Point made. Debate over.

@SaturnPhase At this point Sookie's character is nothing but a thinly disguised prop for the males, especially Bill, so I'm not getting into who is "better for her" because the whole thing has devolved into the same old tired love triangle that goes on and on without any direction or purpose. By now I've really lost most of my emotional investment in the story, don't feel there's any cohesive vision anymore, and have little lnterest in Bill's tribulations, so sadly I think I'll pass next year.

@trixiedoor Ok, well to an extent they're both unreliable as I mentioned before, so there really is no more "debunking" necessary. They're both pretty insidious, but as I stated in my initial comment as far as relationships go, I still think if I had to choose between who is better for her, I'm sticking with Bill. I watch the show, and obviously so do you, and I'm not changing my mind despite all the "debunking".
