Third loss of year for Mac on a very slow clay. Hard to play for him. Tie was famous for problems in US team. No conversation between Ashe, Connors and McEnroe. How to build a team in that case ? Connors never played Davis Cup again, McEnroe came back only in 87, Ashe left in 85. Meanwhile the Swedish were totally united. I have some videos of henrik sundström's matches like for instance against wilander in monte carlo final, this match too and against lenld in semi final davis cup and some other ones too, will try to put them up some day !

I´ve got really surprised when I saw this video, because i´ve never heard anything about Henrik Sundström.
He played great points agaist Mcenroe, the top spin lob at 1.34 its amazing!

@chapaev36 mcenroe serves, return of sundstrom, mcenroe volleys on sundstrom's one hand backhand who strikes a passing shot to win the match if i remember correctly.
But i have many matches on tape ( not on dvds) just hav to transfrom them to dvds and then one day youtube will be filled of henke sundstrom ;)

Thank you for reminding me. I´ll fix it as soon as I can, it takes a couple of hours. Henrik Sundström was remarcable in 1984, it´s such a shame he disapperad. Today he lives in Swizerland, I´ve heard. I wonder what he´s doing, you get no information on Google...
