Every so often, the earth is slammed by a big rock that disrupts life on the planet. No doubt there are others in our future. What significance to the existence of humankind do these represent?

Religious classes belong in separate religious schools, not the public school system. Even in a religious school, (my husband went to Catholic school), religion classes were entirely separate from science classes, and were also OPTIONAL, the parents decided whether to enroll their child in those classes. He was taught evolution in science classes. This is in Canada, by the way. Creation is not science, and does not belong there.
