COMO SE HACE PAELLA
The Paella plant (latin name: Turpis nidor posteri sero) The authentic paella plant which inspired one of the greatest dishes ever. The original recipe is made with the beautiful white seeds of the Paella plant. Many years ago the Phloxypolyphenus virus blighted the Paella plant and due to a severe shortage of the Paella Plant people substituted Paella seed with white rice.

Now, thanks to major advances in the art of horticultural science, a new hybrid strain of the Paella plant flourishes, so much so, they are now on general sale again. Great!

1 paella Plant is enough to satisfy 4 people.
You will need:
1 x Paella plant (Turpis nidor posteri sero)
1 ltr chicken stock
1 pinch Safron
5 cloves of garlic crushed
3 large tomatoes
Meat (pork or chicken)
Prawns, assorted shellfish
Onion
Salt
Pepper
Olive Oil
Garnish
Method:
Heat the pan add olive oil, add onions and brown. Add meat and brown, add garlic, tomatoes and simmer.

Add the Paella Plant seeds, making sure to cover in the mixture in the pan.

Add safron and stock
Cover and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.

Uncover and add seafood. Cover for 5 minutes. Serve.

Enjoy.

PS Any problems finding a paella plant, email me doyle@hotmail.co.uk as I have a list of stores who have a permenant stock. If you live in the south of England and into mainland Europe, you may be able to (frost free areas only) grow your own. They are similar in looks to Yukka plants and like a fairly similar climate. Fruit flourishes after 4 years.
