seshkanuri - I have seen this motor first hand during the North American Solar Challenge. It's actually 98.5% efficient and yes, it is possible and not a fraud. There are half a dozen peer-reviewed journal articles out there about this motor and it's astronomical efficiency!
Please refrain from critizing when you have not done the necessary research.

@magna59 G'day Bob... Thanks for sending me here. Well, with a design like this, the lightweight motor isn't much of an advantage. Visualise a long downhill run, into wind, with a bump at the bottom just after the road levels.... When the nosewheel climbs the bump, the Wing pitches up, and the Solar Electric Launched Uncontrollable Sailplane will attempt to fly out of Ground Effect... Maybe a Lump of Lead at the Front ? Better Traction, AND hold the Nose down ?

@haiyuehan Hi. If is possible to make a electric motor so efficient (98,5%), may I pressume thta is possible to also make a generator as much efficient ?
Many car use the electric motor as generator, when go down a hill, and so produce electricity; it's generally called regenerative breaks. But many people said that the generator wasn't efficient enough to get a good deal of potential energy from this work, and so would not be workwhile.
What is your opinion about that ?

Actually, a team I was involved with bought one. I built a motor using their parts and confirmed their claims using a dynomometer.

The price for the motor, is it a mass manufactured price?
$12,582 for an electric motor kit is a bit expensive.
Any chance of a link to their site ?
