Thanks for your response, it is a mark ll. It is funny but I swear I don't get the same tone on 1/2 power and full power is tough to play at a lower volume. I have both volumes at 2.

Thanks for the comment, I do think the tone is alot from the Korg A3 and the EMG's. I feel that if I had to use another amp, I could get very close to the tone I have now with just the Korg and a Sans amp distortion. It takes quite a discerning ear to tell the difference. The truth is for me, if I gig with a not so great a band I just don't bother with the good stuff, you or they can't hear the subtitles it seems anyways. Great gear deserves a great band.

I have been playing acoustic for a year now, so the strat is on hold. I am sorry but I don't know what the setting were, just a spur of the moment. The tone is in my head and the equipment allows me the expression of it.

Thanks for your response, I do not doubt I need to work on my hearing, it is a life long journey, The band was a one off, we had never rehearsed or played together as a group. It was for a benefit.
