One of the coolest features of the Lufthansa Airbus 340-600 is the lavatories located downstairs. This prevents a long line forming upstairs where most lavatories are located.

I also noticed b/c they are downstairs, less people used them resulting in cleaner toilets. This is the only airline and model aircraft that I know of that have the toilets on a lower level.

What do you think?

The seats are much better than the Lufthansa 747 but not as good as the A380:

Flying from SFO to Munich. About 10hrs.

  • Are you sure this wasn't an A380? Because the only Airbus that has 2 decks is the A380.... The A340 is big but it only has 1 deck...

  • hey, I am going to take this flight too.

    Were you taking 38G?

Is that a good seat to travel on a long-haul flight?

As I can see there is nothing behind your seat.

  • All toilets are below? even the ones at front? WOOOW! :)
