Hungarians are told to be the far relatives of Finnish people, if that is the case, I'm proud of having a family like that! However, our traditions are different, we both like listening to decent music, like this one. If the world denies the privilege of considering the Finnish people to be my far relatives, than I'm still proud of you for keeping alive your traditions. (sorry for my bad English)
Legyen boldog életünk, testvérek.

Had never heard a kantele until I saw a couple of youtube videos yesterday. Was interested to see how it was played so glad I found this. How long did it take to learn this???

Great song! Thanks for uploading a Kantele vid for an expat Finn who gets nostalgically patriotic sometimes :) Keep up the good sound!
This is really cool. Never heard of the Kantele even though I try to listen to local music from around the world.
What are you doing at the bottom of the instrument? Changing the tunings for the key changes?

You mean those swiches/levers? They change the tuning of the strings (sharp, flat). The system is like the foot pedals in harp.
