The redesigned Ford C-Max, which goes on sale in the second half of 2010, will makes its public debut later this month at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show. Ford says the new C-Max is the first model off the company's revised C-segment global compact platform, which also will spawn the next-generation Ford Focus that will be unveiled in late 2010.

No. It´s a new model made on a new platform for the C-segment (european classification, of course). The one that is going to be used in the next generation of Focus, Mazda 3 and Volvo S40

By the way, American market needs new small cars. Big cars takes too much gasoline. New small european cars have almost the same interior space, less weight, less methal parts, more style and of course, more efficient engines that brings good power and save your pocket economy at the gas station. Europeans cars are bigger than a decade before, so Americans could them attractive now, specially if you´re not seduced by japanese car makers.

According to the new Kinetic Design, the C-Max had his turn to get a new fresh style. Originally based on the Focus platforfm the previous version got the same excellent handling and comfort of its bro Focus. It´s been always a fun car to drive even when it´s a minivan. And now wjth new platform and new style it makes a mini S-Max temptation. Wonder how this is going to look like the new Focus.....

hey dude im american dude im just showing the hypocritical and contradictory when other people say stupid stuff come on its all in the name of fun. I mean come on europeans eat fatty foods sometimes alot more then americans and if they dont neeed cars why do they make them? or when they say they dont buy american its crappy but buy ford fiestas their excuse for that is its designed in germany to its European, but its all cool its in the name of fun not hard feelings im american and i love USA
