Puerto Rican Pastelles. Made with pork, special green olives, and red bell peppers inside. The mushy outside is made with plantain bananas and some other things to make the maza. After their made you boil them in water to cook them. Their amazing!

  • @rena1ryuugu they are pasteles the outside is plantains grated and whatever meat u like on the inside it is a puerto rican tradition usualy famous around christmas :)

  • The Masa is made with plantains, yautia, potato all grated. There are no bananas. Plantains are in the banana family but by now means is it banana since they are not sweet.

    If you can't explain yourself get off the web.

  • There is no right or wrong way to make foods especially rustic foods. every family and region has different ingredients available and tastes vary. In Hawaii the decedents of the Puerto Rican migrants call Pastelles "Patelles" And no to people make them the same way.

    They are all good but some better than others.
