Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones hack: Brigand side changing

I'm a noob hacker, and this is my first hack - changing the side of two of the brigands. I also changed Saar to a General, but that's not really important. I also edited the growths of the brigand in this video to make him more up to par with other characters.

By the way, brigands can be promoted to either berserkers or warriors, if you use a master seal.

Yes, this was done with the Nightmare editor. The guy's pointer is 0x66, I believe.

What is the bandit with the mug's editor ID, I'm also a noob hacker and I wanted to do something like this.

CORRECTION (Sorry for double post): I have done this before, I just usually make them NPC, not player controlled.

Ive been using nightmare for a while, and though Ive never tried going where you just did. If you are using a ROM (and I suspect you are) I'm rather surprised it didn't crash. I am wondering what you used to change it though (I know how to do this, but I'm wondering if its the same thought pattern) The only reason i can think of the ROM not having crashed by leveling up is because that guy had a Portrait. Back to original question however. Was this done via Nightmare editor?
