Lupe has true inspirational lyrics. I listen to Lupe Fiasco for the messages that he weaves into his songs. I hate listening to those guys that rap about partying, sex, and drugs. Just look at "Till I get there", "The show goes on", "Hip-hop saved my life", "Intruder alert" or "Words I never said". Not many people know this, but Lupe was inspired by Nas and Jay-Z when he was a teenager. He disliked the negative messages that were in a lot of rap, and has chosen to write with a positive message.
