"...the decision to hide the "out of dsp" message was made on the spot due to time constraints, meaning that I didn't have screen time to explain what was going on. It wasn't meant to be manipulative - the manual is very clear that using two amps at once eats up a bunch of DSP.

We lit and shot the whole thing in around two hours, so we were just trying to get everything in that we needed. :-)"

Arrrrrrgh! When oh when will you update that blocky low-res display? 700 bucks should buy something with more resolution! Suggestion: Hire a UI designer and a SW dev to code a decent UI using a pretty widget set and use a hi-res display (android anyone??) ! C'mon, nice displays are pretty inexpensive now!

At the moment we're aiming to put out 2 a week.

@PerfectParasite The POD will respond to certain MIDI commands from a 3rd party MIDI pedal but it's limited in that it will only respond to program and bank changes and not CC's. With the FBV you can control just everything.

@line6movies If I were to buy the HD Pro and I wanted to use it for live shows with a pedal operated switching system, would I have to get the line 6 FBV line of foot boards or could I get a midi foot controller and achieve the same?

@line6movies Hahaha I guess if u say so. But a slight mention of its limits would never be mentioned on a video made for promotion of a product. Don't worry I still bought it :) .......I would have done the same thing if I was selling it.

@PerfectParasite The HD Pro has a couple more input and output options but other than that it's exactly the same as the HD500.

What would be the benefit of getting this instead of the HD500? I am currently considering buying one of the two.
