@03artbz That's odd, I just bought one myself from GC and the sales reps, as well as the SWS sticker on the headstock lead me to believe it IS all solid wood. I even checked myself - the grain on the inside of the back is EXACTLY the same as the outside. This means that it could not be a laminate, as laminates by nature are layers of wood arranged in OPPOSING grain for strength. I don't think Seagull was lying to either of us, but they may have believed that you meant another model.

I just played this and a seagull entourage together and I honestly liked the entourage with the ding in the sound board more (not a knock against the sws it was my second favorite guitar of the day, just gotta give credit to seagull), put it on hold hope I stop being scared and buy it soon.

maybe its the mic but it sounds abit too soft.to be a spruce are u sure this one is spruce?

@ryevick This is the Maritime SWS...only available at Guitar Center. I bought mine from a guy on craigslist. Such a great instrument!

C'est étrange qu'elle ait un pan coupé, la série MARITIME sur le site SEAGULL n'en a aucune avec pan coupé dans cette série... Je ne comprends pas :(
