(Bug has been fixed in version 1.1.0)

Complete an entire level while the game is paused!

I had to pause one day while playing a level, so I paused, then shut off the screen, and when I came back and unlocked the screen, I was able to roll around even though the game was still paused. I tried seeing if it would allow me to pick up gems and finish a level, and it did, though I was not able to jump, use the camera, or use PowerUps. The only input allowed is the accelerometer.

I thought I'd make a video to document the bug and for (very) minimal entertainment purposes.
I think it's simply a GUI error, because obviously, due to the fact that I was able to finish the level and get a time, the clock still runs fine, and gems and PowerUps are collected fine.

I wonder if this'll get fixed for the next update.

And about the video itself: Yeah, the iPod's not always in the shot fully, and my playing skills are horrible, but that was due to the fact that I had to calibrate the accelerometer in a very awkward angle that I've never used before. I got the audio from feeding it into the laptop (as you can see in the background) and recording it while playing. I also have the iPod charging off the laptop, and those cords were definitely not helpful to my playing.

  • Haha, camera reflection at 0:26. This glitch doesn't work for me for some reason, it just stays paused...

  • wow, really? What device do you have, 1st gen ipod, 2nd gen ipod, 1st gen iphone, or iphone 3G? (this is on a 1st gen ipod)

And I only noticed that the iPod made a noticeable reflection until after I put it on my computer, so I didn't want to redo it :P

  • lol the easy way to get a world record xD

  • I have a 1st gen ipod also. I don't think it would change on a different system though. Hrm. Too bad the reflection didn't show your face. I guess that just proves how little of the screen you must be able to see. :P

  • Lol! Thats great.
