Riots at the Manege Square-2002

Riots at the Manege Square occurred June 9, 2002 after the broadcast of the match of the World Cup Russia - Japan (0:1).

Hundreds of fans angry losing Russia's national team, began the rout of shops and offices. As a result of the pogrom, one person died and more than 70 injured. Were broken more than 100 cars, some of them were burned.

Immediately after the massacre the government of Moscow reparation to the owners of Broken Glass and given a financial compensation to people who are in hospitals. However, the owners of affected vehicles in compensation was not listed. The three car owners who have filed in court, demanding compensation in the amount of 130 to 180 thousand rubles.

When considering applications Tver court of Moscow has come to the conclusion that broadcasting the match on Manege Square was a natural event, to which the city authorities have no relationship.

там акция была спланированная подъехали пару автобусов,оттуда вылезли несколько десятков бритых и с задних рядов при пропущенном от япошек мяче стали закидывать экран бутылками-результат первыя ряды от бомбардировки полегли... ну и собственно понеслась
