Do you know that our government considered in 1997 to form a cooperation with France to build a second ship of the Charles de Gaulle class for the German navy??? It shal have the name Konrad Adenauer. But they stop it, becuase of the high purchase and dependent costs and becuase a carrier would not fit into the German military plan.

But the Saxons was a folk of the Germanen (Teutons like the English language says) like even the Anglos, Thuringians, Alamannis, Vandals, Burgundians, Goths, Lombards and the Franconias (the reason why France has his name ;)) and a lot more. The Germanen (Teutons) are the folk who becomes later the name Deutsche (Germans) ...

@couteau86 I'm not denying that our Royal Family is reated to your old Royal Family, and the Spanish Royal Family and the old Russian Royal Family- they were related on purpose. And yes funnily enough I am aware of the term Ango-Saxon but Saxony was not part of Germany at the time so you can hardly call us German. We all came from Africa at some point but I'm not African. We all follow the EU like a herd of sheep because otherwise we get fined. The EU, as it is is shit!!

And Victoria I. was the daughter from Marie Louise Victoire von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld. Here father, Edward Augustus, Duke of Kent and Strathearn was the son from Sophie Charlotte von Mecklenburg-Strelitz ... both was German princesses ... and just by the way, the Englishmans are so or so Anglo-Saxons, a Teuton folk, like us Germans ;)

Wilhelm II was the Grandson of the Imperial Queen Victoria I, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, the Empire and the Commonwealth. This is the tradition that the people of the UK do not want to be lost in a United Europe. Again, all of the Royal Families were related our Royal Family were related to the German and Russian Royal Family just as the German Royal Family was related to ours!! :)

@couteau86 Yes... Europe can unite as much as is possibly can- without becoming one country. The UK government should be able to pass our own laws without the EU no allowing us to. The EU should have no say in UK laws. We should become closer and closer allies but this will not happen because the people of the UK do not want to be ruled by Brussles. And I know that our Royal Family has foreign ancestory, Kaiser Wilhelm was a close relative on Queen Victoria and Tsar Nicholas II...

Little tip for you, your royal family, the House of Windsor, the real name of this familiy is House of Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha and it is a German family. They renamed hereself in 1917 into Windsor, becuase of ther kinship to the House of Hohenzollern who provide the German emperor (Wilhelm II. was the cousin of Georg V.)
