I'm looking for other fixies to ride trails with. If you guys still do this freq I'd love to come down - I'm in Southern PA.

I have a single speed mountain bike but I use gears appropriate for the conditions, like 34/18 for steep stuff and 36 / 18 for the light hills and stuff.
I have a freewheel though, I would not take a fixie on a killer trail as one can see here it is not very effective.

Try dropping your seat it makes all the difference on rocks, jumps etc.
I wish I had people to ride fixed mtb with, I just tag along last to mtb friends like a dog and it's FUN as all hell!!!
