Don't Let Go [Nick Jonas Love Story] Chapter 25

[Alison’s P.O.V.]

Nick went home later that night really sad, and a bit mad. What did Joe say that was so bad?

I changed clothes, brushed my teeth, and got into bed... right when my phone started ringing. I sighed. I just love getting calls this late.
“Hello?” I answered. There was a pause of silence. “He-”
“It’s Joe.” Oh boy. Now I’m going to have to hear different sides of Nick and Joe’s little fight.
“Hey, Joe...”
“Could we just... talk for a little bit?”
“Well, I was actually about to go to sleep but sure, why not? What’s up?” I asked, trying not to sound annoyed. He sighed.
“I’m sorry, I can talk to sometime later if you want-”
“No, no, it’s fine. Speak,” I said. Another pause.
“Um, how are you and Nick?” he asked, which confused me.
“We’re, uh... we’re great. Is something wrong, Joe?”
“If I told you, you’d most likely laugh or get really mad.”
“Joe, I’ve never been mad at you. You can tell me anything... we’ve been, like, best friends before I even knew Nick. Just say whatever is on your mind,” I said. He sighed and hesitated. I wasn’t annoyed, just extremely curious as to what was the problem. He was taking a while to speak, so I thought I’d bring up earlier.
“What happened with you and Nick? He came over here really mad at you.”
“Just stupid stuff that I probably shouldn’t of said. I’m just gonna go... sorry for keeping you up.”
“Wait, don’t go yet,” I said, but I could tell he had already hung up. I closed my phone and laid back. Those Jonas boys are really confusing.

[Nick’s P.O.V.]

I got to school the next day and searched for Alison, making sure Joe wasn’t talking to her. I found her talking to Megan and walked up to her.
“Hey, Ali, can we talk for a minute?” She seemed annoyed after I said that, but came with me.
“If you’re going to be like Joe was with me-”
“Joe talked to you?” I blurted out. She looked at me confused.
“Yeah, last night on the phone. Something wrong?” I sighed and looked away. I held her hand as we started walking down the hall.
“I really don’t want to sound like a demanding boyfriend, but could you just... not talk to Joe?” I knew there wasn’t any nicer way to put that, and I also knew that she would probably get pissed at me in 3... 2... 1...
“What’s wrong with me talking with Joe? Just because I’m dating you and he’s your brother doesn’t mean-”
“Listen, I really don’t want to get into any arguments or anything but could you just please not?”
“No,” she said, pulling her hand away from me. “If I can’t talk to certain people while dating you then maybe this isn’t worth it.” A couple people were staring at us as we stopped walking and faced each other. She crossed her arms in an angry way. I glared at the people staring at us, making them walk away. I turned back to her and sighed while running a hand through my hair. I just didn’t want her to fall for Joe, that’s all. “Do you WANT to break-up?”
“Baby, I just...” I stopped mid-sentence and sighed. “Joe just wants to break us up,” I said. Her expression changed a little.
“How do you know?”
“That’s why we were fighting yesterday. He said he really like LIKED you.”
“Well, good for him, but that has no effect on us does it?”
“No... I guess not,” I said. She smiled and pressed her lips to mine before walking off.

I watched the tribute. I started bawling when Paris started talking. I don't cry a lot, so my mom is sister were shocked when they saw tears. I will miss Michael, and I will always remeber what Paris said, I will remeber Michael not only by his music, but his personality, and his caringness towards other people. He was not just the King of Pop, he was the greatest performer of all time. Only the loyal fans loved him when he was still alive, and the fake ones only loved him after he died.Miss u<3

Exactly. When I was younger, he was my ALL-TIME FAVORITE singer. There's probably 10+ home videos of just me dancing to his music, hah. When all that "MJ is a molester" crap came out, I started having different thoughts on him and started to dislike him; my favorite singer... then I found out it was all a scam on Michael and felt so bad for him. All those years calling him a child molester when he wasn't, yet he kept that smile on his face and his head high... that's the MJ I love.<33
