  • I say, what a devilishly hideous machine.

  • Those kinds of airplanes look so unstable and scary. Does the military even use the Osprey?

  • That is the prototype of the VTOL test vehicle you idiot....the precursor to the Harrier Jump Jet.

Precursor to alien saucers.... only a moronic conspiracy theorist would think so....

  • @oilhammer04 Yes, but it has a pretty bad track record when it comes to safety.

  • @emerychandler The Marines use it too.

  • @oilhammer04 yes they do

  • @HailTheBackwardsMan Many would argue that plane has already become obsolete as there's the Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion and Chinook to take care of most of it's tasks. Even speed and range has become somewhat of a none-issue for those and they can do more.

The idea of the Osprey becoming the ultimate 'dropship' has been flawed from the start. You'll need some kind of VTOL technology currently still relatively sci-fi for that.

  • global warming is the least of their worries

  • @oilhammer04 yea they do, mostly air force special forces and the navy recon unites. It is actually very stable, its just kinda hard to fly, after some training though its easy.

  • that first on is a jet not a heliplane

  • @oilhammer04 yes they do and its very stable

  • its like a flting pig with the nose
