This is a novelty song written in 1923 by Billy Rose and Con Conrad about the comic character that was a fixture in newspapers for over 70 years. I have no idea who the manufacturer of this roll might be, the only information is the number 92366 on the badly damaged leader. The first three feet are torn up the middle and the paper is wrinkled and plays with a few missed notes here and there. This is a part of our humor heritage so enjoy a piece of our fathers and grandfathers Sunday Funnies past.
