@aimhigh59 Ah, okay, I finally see it. I thought the sky was brighter because of the sunlight that was on a checklist, must've been a launch around sunrise or sunset for the sky to be so dark, the same color as the checklists
It wouldn't surprise me, though. I mean the only important info you'd get from the window during launch is roll, pitch, and yaw, and most of the time they'll see nothing but a black or dark blue sky, and the HUD (even with a list behind it) and CRT's have the rotation info
@Eagle1Division2 The windows are no where near completly blocked. You see in this camera angle that part of window 3 & 4 are blocked by checklist. Their HUD's are in the same windows and unobstructed. These checklist are just Velcro'd to the dash and can easily be pulled out of the way if required. The camera just gives you a bad angle and doesnt show you how much window there is to see out of.
LOL @ 0:32. I guess since the autopilot flies the ascent, and even manual is done by the CRT displays, that the view out the front window isn't important...
But it's still funny to see them flying it with the front window completely blocked by checklists and notes! xD

@uzimodem Yea - the b.s. elite politicians would rather spend money on war. Brilliant right? Those fucking idiots.
