Sorry to hear about overhearing that you looked like a clown among those.....freshmen! For me, if I suspect that someone is saying something offensive about me, I wouldn't look at them because I fear if I did, they would only laugh at me. It would basically show them that I gave them "power" sort of speak, like I actually cared what they think. So I don't look at the person and just go on with my business even though I'm actually concerned whether they are talking about me.

I try to have that reaction because, I totally agree with you, I hate the thought of giving the other person(s) "power" in the situation, but these stupid guys just caught me totally off guard!! Lol, I couldn't control my redhead temper ;)

she looks like a clown? what the fuck. what is wrong with people? you should be like "yeah, I'm on my way to the circus right now. you guys wanna come? we could use some more sideshow freaks."
it is true that redheads stand out. i like to joke around with redheads. i'll be like "holy shit! your hair is on fire!!" haha. yeah lame, i know. but in like 50-100 years from now, there'll be almost no redheads left! that makes you special. :)

Hahaha, I am totalllly going to remember that comeback, that's awesome! And I've definitely heard the "hair on fire" joke, but when it's in good fun I don't take offense :D
