The McAllen International Airport and seven other South Texas airports are now utilizing full body imaging equipment, aimed at increasing security on airplanes.
Ray Pedraza reports for the McAllen Cable Network.
The backscatter machine shown uses 60,000eV (mean energy) x-ray source, about 2% of the x-ray is reflected/scattered off the body. The remaining 98% 1/2 passes through a 10" thick body the other 1/2 is absorbed. X-ray energy breaks chemical bonds and scrambles your RNA/DNA a precursor to cancer. We agree with the TSA person avoid the machine and "Opt out" for the pat down. We make privacy x-ray absorbing undergarment for medical, security workers and frequent fliers. RockyFlatsGear(.)com
@rockyflatsgear that is not true at all. if it was true, then the airports would never be aloud to have them
