  • Hey man, I want to be a marine Biologist that studies tropical fish in Australia (clown fish etc). do I just do a University degree in Marine biology and apply for a job with something to do with fish later on? or do i focus on fish during the course?

  • @MrPetezilla If you're certain that you want to do fish then it doesn't hurt to try to take classes that would help you learn as much as you can about them. That said, it's really important to have a good fundamental understanding of general biology so I wouldn't get too specific as an undergrad. My big suggestion would be to volunteer at an aquarium in your area so that you can get a lot of time working with fish directly and then supplement it with your schooling.
