Again we headed out, and again it was overcast, with a few props, the camera and the ATC3K camera used in this video, as well as a few goodies. The motor was off tune after modifications to the exhaust stinger and I just couldn't get it right. There is still more speed to come!
Remember, this is a 1.2mtr or close to 4' replica (not race) hydro weighing in at around 11kgs (24 lbs)
Unfortunately, some pretty severe gusts of wind sprung up which made for some on the edge running. In this video I have framed a spin, an almost flip which luckily the turn fin grabbed and saved the boat and the final inverted flight.
Some serious damage was caused this time when a compression lock sheared the thin glass join and blew the deck clean off the boat. While it's off, more mods will happen and we'll try again!!!
Stay tuned .....................ENJOY
Please check out the other hydro flip video which is taken from the boat we were in. Thanks Steve
