Iranians have always referred to their homeland as "Iran". This is obvious in mass of Iranian literature such as Ferdosi's masterwork the magnificient "Shahnameh", the Pahlavi sources and so forth.
However, Iran was referred to as Persia in the west and in most non-Iranian text such as the bible. The terms IRAN and Persia refer to the same noble nation and people.

آنچه که در ویدیو میگه سنگین سما هیچگونه شباهتی در مناطق دیگر ایران نداره اشتباه بزرگیست. این دلیل آن ست که ایرانیان حد اقل اطلاعات در مورد فرهنگ و فولکلور و زبان لوری و کوردی ندارند، زیرا سنگین سما یک از رقصهای رایج در بین کوردهای ایلام کرماشان و جلولاء و خانقین میباشد. اصلا کلمه "سما" در زبان کوردی یعنی رقص.

Lurs are related to every single Kurdish groupe but not 1 Single Persian groupe. only the languages are related. Language=bullshit Azeris speak Turkish but they are NOT Turk. I'm Persian but i have to say nimasun is right. the lores and the kurds are the real iranians and omg the most beautiful people i have ever seen in my entire life are lors and kurds :D
