He got polio when 1 year old.a virus that attacks the nerves of your muscles. he lost the control the left leg and some of the right.spent much of his childhood in hospitals undergoing treatments to attempt to restore the full use of his legs... to no avail.When he was 12 years old...

...a cousin brought him the movie "Breakin'". with the solo performens by Eddie Rodriguez, a break dancer who has no use of his legs. He performs with crutches as well as some dizzying floor work. Dergin was inspired by the dancer.questions left???
