  • Nice old Amstrad i had 2 back in 81/82 if i knew then what i know now i would have changed the output tranny myself lol

  • @quotagious haha. yeah, I got 2 also. One in the car and one in the shack which I used for spares to fix the one in the car. mod had been done on the one in the car so I got the green resistor out the one for spares and reversed the mod. all working with 4W output :)

  • Since returning to cb last year, I have tried quite a few rigs.TTi,s, Team, Midlands,Maas...still keep putting my Amstrad 901 back...it really does take some beating. I run the KL203 amp like yours and did have the Sirio 4000 but found it just too big. Now run a Wilson 1000. Superb set up and old Sir Alan sure made a nice radio.
