Surely they must be. If their not in contact with the surface (apart from the skirt) then there can't be any friction or drag like you get with a conventional boat.

Yeah, supposed to be im not entirely sure. Its a Quicker service time than most ferries, considering the hassle a boat has to go through to set off.
