I absolutely love the timbre of yoru lower register; it sounds exactly like a (string) bass, and that's incredibly difficult to achieve. :D

@Dafurugufilms It's based on a Duke Ellington song called Caravan.

I like it so much. Great sound. I would like to know more about the kind of recording?

very nice,,,I enjoyed listening so much! I have a question for you. Of course, I think I already know the answer, but how important is it to you to practice scales and also, how important to practice playing chords with your left hand? Other question...were you playing the non-melody parts completely off the cuff or have you played it so much that you find yourself playing it similarly each time you play it. Once again,,,,very, very nice!

Thanks for yr comment man :-).
Just one answer to your questions: The more you know the more you are free. Then you have to study scales, chords, classical music...everything comes handy when it' s a matter of getting free, like a painter palette: more colors you have available, more chances you have to make the painting you want and you can go where you want because you know your way home.
I really try to improvise from scratch every time...hard job.
