  • thanks amaaaazing I thought I waz the only lover of capt coconut I listensd to this with head phones on a panasonic quad channel from a lp in 70 somthing waz in HIGH School @ the time

  • jimi creates here an extrodinary mix of sounds here, going from the gentle excotic building up to a climax of wild fasanating guitar sounds & then gently peeters off first with some gentle feedback & then into a very psychedelic ending.

    AWESOME! no-one comes close to this in past or present, they can try to copy but i would dought anyone pulling it off. His ability to master his effects, intuative guitar playing & musical composition is unparalleled.

    Its very sad he died at only 27 :(

    Like a haze of green crawling over your soul

  • the ending has such a dark side of the moon feeling its amazing... you can tell this man inspired countless number of musicians through the ages and will continue to do so forever.

  • @rolandrog pulllleeeaaaze

  • thank you for these

  • @therzallwazajack mine was a Juliette :}

  • KILLER GUITAR!!

  • It's Jimi interrpreting into guitar music the passion of Jesus Christ. Can't you recognize the flogging, tearing off and into Jesus' flesh? Oh, Father, Forgive them, for they know not what they do.

  • I always liked this one. It's a compilation of 3 tracks. I like the weird sounds he gets in the middle before the lead. It's an Alan Douglas Frankenstein Hendrix song for sure, but great Hendrix no less. I have no problem with them doing whatever they have to do to get it to our ears. With the new technology they can fix the back up musicians mistakes seamlessly and leave Hendrix intact. Or blend a vocal tracks and a jam tracks like they did with Valleys of Neptune. Give me the tapes I'll do it.

  • A strange, beautiful, liquid, unique and timelessly expressive, inventive piece of guitar work from Jimi. Always a favourite as a teenager and now too.
