You are simply disgusting! Please go somewhere else. You are tainting the death of this little girl and defiling the Chapmans' love for her.

Your an ignorant, racist nobody. Keep your stupid comments to yourself, you should be ashamed of yourself. Your life must be very pathetic to make such a rude comment at the expense of a family who has suffered such a terrible loss.

But their faith is unbelievable. Their love is incredible. I admire this beautiful man of God & his wonderful family. You're in my prayers. God bless you.

PS: Steven & Mary Beth, if you read this, I want you to know that my cousin is taking care of little Maria. She's teaching Maria how to play basketball and when you see her in heaven, she'll have the best jumpshot ever!

I've been a fan of Steven Curtis Chapman ever since I was 16 (I'm 29 now) and when I heard this, I broke down and cried. My aunt's beautiful 22-year-old daughter (my sweet cousin) had been killed just 3 months prior to Maria's death. My heart breaks for this beautiful family. Steven became my hero when he adopted these beautiful girls and now, he is really my hero. He's a warrior for Christ. What he & his family have gone through is tragic & devasting beyond belief.

True. But being an adopted daughter myself, I have no objection to being called adopted. The word is just used to describe how I came into the family. It doesn't make me any less a member of it. Do you understand what I mean? I know Maria Sue was the daughter of her parents' hearts and that's all that matters. This family is often in my prayers and especially Will.
