Rules:
Create a Bricks-and-Brickarms animated film on the theme of World War II.
Be creative! From Battlefields to War Bonds, it's up to you to decide how to portray a World War II theme.
Some details
- Less than 2 minutes per video, though we may allow entries that are longer if it is warranted.
- 1 entry per person. If you change or update your entry, please just make sure that we know which one is your entry.
- All entries must include the contest logo for at least 3 seconds at the beginning of the video. Link to the contest logo is below.
- Your film should include Brickarms and be comprised primarily of building bricks like Lego.
- This should be a stop motion film. If you wish to include still shots of your build (such as panning across a scene), that's okay. CGI is limited to no more than 20% of the total run time.
- The film must tell the story - accompanying text is good, but the film should make sense without it.
- Your video should be less than 2 minutes long, but longer entries may be accepted if appropriate.
- Post your entry as a YouTube video response to this contest video. You must be subscribed to ToyWizdotcom too please! Subscription link below.
-The deadline for entries is February 29, 2011 at midnight EST. Videos created before January 16, 2011 will not qualify.

@bumper3241 No studio effects are necessary at all, but the real issue is that the film creators have rights to their work and how it's used. Without permission, YouTube already flags or removes videos with copyrighted content. So I really think that it's not a good idea to include a commercial film in your video.

@bumper3241 I think it would be difficult to put Clone Troopers in a WWII setting, though I suppose a well-done fantasy story could make it work. I won't say it has to be historically accurate, but that would be hard to pull off! It might be easier to use your army figures - you don't have to have a lot if you have a good story that only needs a few. And don't forget civilians - they can be there too (I mean just plain people figs).
