I was born deaf and i have cochlear implant. my parents was about to learn asl but they discovered cued speech. they thought cued speech will help me to speak clearly and read good. so now i can speak and read! Cued speech rocks!

cued speech is great for the Deaf to learn english, but i still believe that they should learn ASL as well. There's no cued speech interpreters...

I went on a course to learn cued speech ... but have not been able to practice anywhere.. I think Utube is a great way for people to become aware of this skill.. maureen... I run a voluntary group raising awareness to communication skills. practicemakesperfect.

When I said "indication" the subtitles is meant to have read "Education", maybe it was my lazy speech when I should have emphassied it as"ED-Yue-kayshun" more! But otherwise - keep spreading the word!
