MechWarrior 2 - Wolf Trial 1 - DOSBOX SVN Glitch

I just thought this was relatively interesting. Seems if you launch an old mission as retired and attempt to play through Wolf Trial 1 you automatically win and destroy all mechs.

Guess you could call that the fastest trial time. (Yeah right)

Seems this was a cause of a bad SVN version of DOSBOX. I just installed a new version and everything seems to be back to normal. Quite interesting really. It destroyed all mechs in any level I chose.

Looks like it had that glitch combined with the one where if you charged at a wall & shut down the engine you momentarly lost collision damage & would pass through the wall without making a hole in it

@slainwolf180 yeah the collision damage bug though is in the game no matter what. If you shut down then jet forward and you will continue through most objects. I had no jets though so i could not do that, but if i had tried harder i could have at least shot through the wall at the sphere.

@SirxMMPD i did it without jets, just keep your speed up & shutdown & restart right before you hit the wall

@Undrdogofcorona nah seems to be happening on everything now that i have messed with it more. DOSBOX was the cause bad SVN i guess. I installed a new version of it and everything is back to normal. kinda cool really in a way.. every mission every mech was destroyed on entry.
