Hi..I've read that the "easy marble" smears even after drying. Do you know of some kind of coat that you could paint it with to protect it?
-
Hmmm very odd. Is it marabou brand? That's wat mine was. U only need to use the very tip of the cocktail stick to swirl but it is also about how u dip in and out of the ink that creates the pattern...going down in one part of the water... Moving your piece while still submerged till it is under more of the ink film and not the hole u just created, then lifting it out.
If u can't get the brand I have, let me know I could put you an order up and end to you .

Great, video, great job. I purchased Easy Marble from a company in Russia, shipped to me in the US! I am having so much trouble with the stuff, I'm starting to hate it! The company (in Denmark I believe) says the solvent paint should last about 30 seconds on the water surface before it turns into an unusable film. Mine lasts about 10 seconds! I barely get enough time to put drops in, let alone swirl it around! My toothpick comes out with all the paint on it after swirling! Any thoughts?

Hiya.. thanks for the vid :)
Just wondering what the liquids were that you used to
get the marbelised effect. Im guessing food dye and glue??
If so, what type of glue did you use? Thanks ^^

@filmphan821 hey there =^..^= mine dried fully after being initially sticky. Allow 24hrs drying time where you make sure the beads don't catch on anything that might smudge the ink during this time.
You could of course coat the beads with something like a varnish (clear nail polish is cool) alternatively something like matt modge podge if you are not looking for a gloss finish :) Varnish dries better if you cover the pieces during the drying time to keep dust from settling on the surface. :)
