Such a interesting poet. A great poem, and I gather, a very smart and talented man, yet his persona is such a crass country bumpkin, such a character, at times seeming like som character from a sit com with his embarrassing outburst ("shut up") and thoughtless bhaviour...
What that an act? Could someone be so talented artistically, and such a dope otherwise? OR, was his poetry NOT great? Did he simply ride on the wave of the Beats? (He never was fully appreciated...)
