  • I presume the Sierra Club "SSB" was what KBHK was used for the national anthem . . .

  • Glad you found this. I know you were looking for some sign-offs. I also posted one for KTXL, but these are the only two I have.

  • Channel 44 was the cheapie station if I recall. They always had the old icky cartoons like Casper and others. Interestingly, they were the only ones to play cartoons on Sunday.

  • @WAIATA4U I used to watch that in the mornings before school...

  • KBHK meant "Kaiser Boradcasting/Henry Kaiser" (the founder of the company).

  • @WAIATA4U, the shortlived Channel KNEW 32 broadcast raiders games for a time.

  • @johnissoevil UTV was part of Chris Craft TV stations

  • @WAIATA4U Amen. And I'd give anything for WGTW 48 in Philadelphia to go off for good and for KBHK's former sister station, WKBS 48, to return in its place.

  • It's good to see that UTV kept the Field Communications sign off sequence. From what I've seen on here, CBS did a lame sign off on 44 in 2008.

  • @tvtimetravel, Italian American, too.

  • What national anthem?
