Maureen's Story - How Social Care in Gloucestershire is changing

Part of a series of four stories about people in Gloucestershire who are already using their social care budgets to support them as they take control of their lives and live independently.

The people in these films have direct control over the money they get through a mechanism called Direct Payments. A Direct Payment is money your Adult Social Care service can give you. It is a different way of getting the support you need; you use it to buy the support you want.
