@zman121382 Jim Brown is the greatest running back the NFL has seen or will ever see. I use to go to training camp in Hiram.Watched him.He was the Charles Atlas of pro football. I met him at a dinner in Niles about 20 years ago. Real intimidating but a nice guy after he talked with you awhile. I believe Shurmur is over his head. Very true. the front office refuses to match the fans tough minded intensity. Bernie Kosar was the man. Treated him like shit in the end. Art Modell again.

@zman121382 The fans didn't get rid of those 3 Art Modell did. Earnest Byner would put his heart on the table for you. He was traded to Wahsinton. I was pissed when Schottenhiemer was fired. Another Modell screw up. Belichek that's another story. He's an asshole. Cleveland press hated him."Why did you go for it on 4th down"? Belichek, "cause I wanted too". He was gone before the first season in Baltimore. Franchise already out of Cleveland. They use to call Graham, Automatic Otto.

@zman121382 I can't disagree with most of what you say. The Janet Jackson thing was used to make a point. Yes, the Cleveland front office stinks. It smells all the way to Youngstown. The Browns are a direct reflection of the owner, front office and coach. Randy Lerner is either in London or Israel. Mike Holmgren is overrated, Ron Wolfe called the shots in Green Bay. I call Shurmur the sandman. He puts everybody to sleep. You think I don't want Cohwer. Another Art Modell screw up.

@801liveable I also forgot Otto Graham whose a legend of the game and probably one of the greatest players of his era. What I don't understand is why were your fans so quick to get rid of Earnest Byner and Schottenhiemer or Belichek? But yet the Browns clung to Palmer as your coach when he stunk up the joint and Butch Davis is celebrated as your coach. Since the Browns return their coaches have been down right pathetic. When will your front office hire a decent coach?

@801liveable as for the Pro Football Championships I'll count them, but only because I do respect Jim Brown. He's done alot for football and in the community around Cleveland. I respect that and I did always like Bernie Kosar. Cleveland has a rich tradition of football, but your front office is terrible. They refuse to match the fans tough minded intensity. Shurmur is not someone I would say is mentally tough. Your office needs to throw money at Cowher, then youll dominate us.

@801liveable uh Janet Jackson never sang in Super Bowl 9 or 10 nor 13 or 14. And you will hear it my friend because your team has yet to make it. The two franchises that havent are Jacksonville and Cleveland. Jacksonville I'll cut some slack and yes I'm sure that will change, but I can't say given the current rule changes its any better right now. In fact its almost unwatchable. You need to hire a better coach and keep him this time. Holmgren is still stuck on the west coast system.

@zman121382 Yes the Steelers have great history but so do the Browns.Yeah the Steelers made the playoffs that year and the Browns played for the AFC tltle. Steelers 6 championships Browns 8 including the All American Football Conference.Don't want to hear it wasn't the Super Bowl. It was pro football.Just because there weren't a lot of commercials and Janet Jackson wasn't singing. It was a championship then and now. The current setting will change it just takes time. You'll see.

LOL i love how the browns fans consider themselves to be the greatest franchise in the NFL. Yes the 51-0 game is funny, but whats funny about that is the fact that the Steelers beat them in Cleveland the same season!!! And the Steelers still made the playoffs that same year. Look it up Browns fans, why brag about a win that meant squat later in the year? Almost like bragging about making 3 AFC Title games and losing them. Then youre fire Marty S. and Bill B. I have no sympathy for you!
