  • Keep marketing at the highest level you can afford and you'll earn the trust of the business that's still flying out there, but you'll see real benefits when the economy comes back and the business comes back in 'en masse. They'll be looking for those marketers who have shown staying power, the ability to lead in down times and have demonstrated trustworthiness. Gotta respect the advice. Cut whatever you can, but keep marketing going strong.

  • Whatever. down is down.

    Cut expenses, slash anything that is not profitable, and if you cannot turn a profit, Shutdown until times get better.

    No point in riding the slump with losses until total bankruptcy.
