Two men, a unique friendship, a violent world. Danny (Stephen Graham from "Snatch", "Broadwalk Empire") is a scruffy small-time chancer, small in stature, but with a sharp eye for a scam. Joseph (Akinnuoye-Agbaje) is a giant of a man, but with the mental age of a seven-year-old and gentle as a lamb despite his extraordinary strength. Living together in their scuzzy inner-city flat, this odd-couple are opposites who can't live without each other: they pull petty thefts, go fishing and drink beer. They've been friends for years -- but their relationship is about to be pushed to the limit.

Worst. Trailer. Ever.

It's infuriating because it does not represent the film that I saw. The actual film is so deep and well acted that I had tears in my eyes in the end. Stephen Graham (Joseph) gives a deeply humane and realistic performance of a man that craves a happy ending to a crap life. This IS NOT the typical crappy british gangster film that the trailer makes it out to be. What a shame!

A film loosely based off, "Of Mice and Men" this good shouldn't have such an appalling trailer showing no good acting parts of it at all. Say the words, 'loosely based off, of mice and men' and people wouldn't think it as a homemade film attempting to look action packed as much. I agree with you completely.

i wasn't going to watch it because of the shitty trailer, had an early day off work because of the snow saw it on Netflix and thought i'd give it a go, wow what a film, like you said the trailer is appalling compared to the quality of the film, the acting was simply outstanding, so glad i watched it now :)

if you are watching this trailer because you are unsure if its worth seeing, take my word for it, it is class, the acting is outstanding, stephen graham is superb and "triple A" should of got nominated for every award going for his portrayal of Joseph, it is very hard to watch in places as it is so gritty and dark, this pisses all over anything that is made in Hollywood, well done to all involved a masterpiece.
