Get ME2 before it, you WILL enjoy it.

@LuigiMan311 yes you'll be pretty lost in the story if you don't play the first two but i have to say that ME2 is much better than ME1. the games will make you pick and choose who lives, who dies and your choices affect everything! def play the first two shouldnt take more than 1-3 weeks to beat both of them

@LuigiMan311 One of the best features of the Mass Effect universe is that you can export all of your previus decisions from ME1 and ME2 and they will all affect your ME3 playthrough. As I see it, you have enough time to play both ME1 and ME2 before ME3 goes out. Just my recommendation :P
