When you start, you can't stop! First the Atari joystick testers (which I am still making) and now this! WHen will the madness end??!!?

This was a quickie whipped-up deal, and I could have done better but it came out great for the whole half-hour I spent on it. Everybody needs to make stuff!

  • I don't think you screwed up the button layout....I would hold that sideways with my thumb on the button and the cord coming out the bottom, like I hold my regular atari paddles. Cool mod!

  • @Stripestore thanks! These tins are excellent for projects, I am making two more joystick testers, just waiting on parts :)

  • MAKE AN ATARI PUNK CONSOLE

  • @machinemotor2 How do you mean? I'm up for anything, but how do I make an Atari punk console? Seriously, how would this be done, cause I'll do it.

  • Hey Nathan this is cool, but where do you put the mints? I will try to finish off my tin of mints and include a tin with the box I am sending to you, you will probably turn it into a computer or something...-Kev aka TheWarriorisabouttodie

  • I ate those mints, and was reminded of Nintendo candy a bit-- not the best. Not totally bad, but could be better. Cool, I will put it to use!! Thinking of doing a paddle tester.

  • im not entirely sure how to make them, if you search "atari punk console altoids tin" or something along those lines, you could find a tutorial or scematics

    good luck!!

  • The mint tin is cool I dont have any like that around here

  • PS stay out from under the heater when it turns on. I'm missing a little hair....

  • I think that cradling the wire would act to help prevent strain on the cable so actually that is a nice feature... should have gotten ole' Ero's I meant to do that comment.

The shape looks more comfortable in the hand then did the original box. Still why did you not include a blue LED here?
