You sound fantastic.
Don't cut yourself down, the average player can't tell your mistakes because he's listening to the good stuff.

A lad your age shouldn't be that good at jazz lol. You're a great guitarist. Your right hand technique looks so smooth.

Now wonder you didn't go out for soccer this year. You were home practicing.... NICE JOB!

Thanks! And I wasn't dampening the lower strings deliberately, although I did in fact do it a few times.

This is a very old video... I improvise stuff like this now, but I was playing from memory at the time. I got a hold of this great book called Barry Galbraith Guitar Solos. It has 13 standards arranged for solo guitar, in both tab and staff notes. The tunes include this one, Darn That Dream, In a Sentimental Mood, 'Round Midnight, For all we Know, and a lot more. I would suggest picking it up when you get the chance.

Very cool young jazz dude! Nice job with the chord voicings and good right hand technique...kudos to not using a pick.

Thanks a lot, bro. I feel I have more options in fingerstyle. I don't even use a pick when I blow.
