  • I wander it still flying

How much Rata (in Russian its called «I 16») now can fly?

  • Six Polikarpov I-16 are in flying condition today. They have been restored and sold by Alpine Fighter Collection in New Zealand. The last one, Red 9 , shown in my video, was bought by Thomas Juelich member of Flugwerk Mannheim e.V. in Germany.

  • Eeehhh... そしてこれらは良い戦闘機でしたか ? BF- 109とFW- 190に反してもらえますか ? ない場合、一致した別の戦闘機 ?

  • @DeltaRomeoDario Thanks. I didn't know about the connection with Москва!

  • Spanish republican aviators called it Mosca. It comes from Москва, Moscow, the procedence place of airframe. Москва was readed by spanish republicans as mosca. Mosca in english means fly (insect) . Rata name comes from national aviators, they said Polikarpov appears like the rats, from down and numerously. Now in Spain, we use Mosca. It will not be correct to call rat to the airplane with so many people fought for the freedom of Spain.

I´m dariodelgado, that's my new account.

  • @dariodelgado Yeah - they called it "Mosca' in Spain, right?

  • I like it! It sound like a flying Harley Davidson

  • erich hartmann 35 2 victories

  • What a sound! :D:O

  • 350,000$AUS and you can own it. Or one of its stablemates. Still one left !
