he paints over a lot of what he has sprayed, like the objects that were there at the start of the vid arn't seen by the end of the video it seems he did that jst for the audience and is kind of like a waste of time really.

Look at the video again mate that is part of the technique as he then laterremoves small parts of the top layer either by scratching, blotting it. Also covering with objects as templates. Every colour or layer is used and you DO see it all in the finished picture. Look again
