NASA has released a low-resolution stop-motion video shot by the Curiosity rover during the final few minutes of its descent to the Martian surface. The Stop-motion video is silent from source. (Aug. 6)

    Actually it takes about 20 minutes to send data back and forth from Mars. At least that's what I have heard.

    I want to see the video of the landing, I though there was some camera video showing the shield jettison and the rocket pack lowering it gently to the ground. What an accomplishment both for human engineering, robotics, computers and ai. We never could have pulled this off twenty five years ago I have no doubt. Hey obummer fund our space program you fool.
