Supreme Court Damaged Your Access to Health Care

Why I think conservatives and liberals should both be furious at the Supreme Court's ruling on Obamacare (ACA).

The individual mandate benefits broken, bloated insurance companies and hurts consumers. While parts of ACA do help everyone (and should remain law), the heart of the bill damages access to health care for the poor and even the middle classes.

We should just have socialized medicine instead.

I am a conservative, and completely support the Obama's first plan. The idea of a government plan to compete, would benefit both those on the private plans, and those without heath insurance as private companies would have to compete with the government. Like UPS vs. the Post Office. Both have positives and negatives. I, however do not support the new plan. Bring back the first plan, and I would support the plan 100%.

Obamacare is not universal health care, it forces people to buy health insurance and you don't have one,you'll pay higher tax. It very similar to Romneycare.

Hey dude, the diagram and video was enlightening, but there is one thing that I think you might have overlooked (and this is by no means an attack on you or your political ideals).

Other countries that run on a single payer system pay significantly higher taxes in order to make this work. However, your point is valid that individual mandate with progressive fine is pretty devious. We need to pay it on a tiered system as tax - those with more pay more, and less pay less.
